Canine Caddy Mickey Mouse Production Cel and Background (1941) - ID: jul24186

An original production cel and background from the Disney Studios animated Mickey Mouse short "Canine Caddy" (1941). Featuring Mickey in a comical pose as he prepares to putt, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both pieces are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the cartoon. Measuring 17"x19.75" framed, with a 8"x10.75" mat opening, and a character image measuring 5"x9.75", the piece is in very good condition. The piece is unexamined out of frame and exhibits minor cel rippling and warping consistent with age, minimal discoloration, and general handling and storage wear to the frame.
