An original production cel and background setup from the Nelvana Studios animated series "The Care Bears" (1985-1988). Featuring Hugs and Tugs being threatened by Shreeky and Beastly atop a large dinosaur, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both pieces represent an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled "Grumpy's Little Friend" which aired on November 8, 1988. Measuring 10.25"x13.5" overall, with the character image measuring 5.5"x7", the cel and background are in very good condition with minor line and edge wear.
