A ceramic figurine inspired by the Disney Studios animated film "Lady and the Tramp" (1955). Featuring a charming rendering of Lady in a seated position, the figurine was created by Evan K. Shaw, likely after the film's initial release. Through the 1940s and 1950s, the Evan K. Shaw Pottery Company and its sister companies, Metlox and American Pottery, produced a wide range of ceramics. In 1943, they were approved as a licensee to produce a range of Disney characters. These companies are no longer in business, making these ceramics difficult to come by. Measuring 1.75"x1" and 1.75" tall, the figurine is in very good condition with minor handling wear.
